THE NEURO MENTORSHIP?
QUARTER 1: Training Neurology, Proprioception & Strength
Quarter 1 is designed to provide all levels of personal trainers or health & fitness pros with a background in neurological threat perception, pain science, and (vitally important) assessment/re-assessment concepts.
To teach these concepts, Quarter 1 emphasizes proprioceptive mapping and motor control, along with the exercises to improve strength, performance, and reduce pain with movement drills.
In Quarter 1, we delve into Biomechanical and Neurological gait assessments, specifically focusing on the intricacies of how they pair together, and the biomechanics can become a window to seeing neurological function. This type of evaluation is hugely important as it provides invaluable insights into understanding the inner workings of your client's brain.
And finally, beginning with the end in mind, Quarter 1 will teach you "Where to start with clients."
QUARTER 2: Neurology Integration Training: Vision, Balance, & Breathing
Quarter 2 takes us a step deeper into the neural hierarchy with the primary focus on the visual system and the inner ear, called the vestibular system.
Here we will learn and apply visual & vestibular anatomy, reflexes, assessments, and drills to our training to improve strength, balance, power, agility, endurance, and speed. These two systems are also MASSIVELY HELPFUL in reducing pain for you or your clients.
Our 20+ years of experience show us that these neurological systems are often IGNORED by other professionals and will have a HIGH PAYOFF for you.
Quarter 2 also teach or review for you the importance of respiration and how it to can play a role in our neuro-threat levels... PLUS we dive deep into respiratory control centers within the brainstem and frontal lobe.
We will then finish Quarter 2 by learning breathing assessments and drills, so your clients can manage threats and have their highest level of performance consistently & effortlessly!
QUARTER 3: Neuroanatomy, Neuro Profiles, & Neuro Training Techniques
Quarter 3 dives into the neuroanatomy of the brain (Frontal Lobe, Basal Ganglia, Midbrain, Brainstem, Cerebellum, and Spinal Cord).
We will then look deeply into neurological gait patterns and apply advanced proprioception, vision, vestibular, and breathing to these brain areas to elicit change.
At this level, "We're not in Kansas anymore!"
You'll also learn how to create a Neuro Profile for your clients so they know exactly where you're headed and what parts of their brain are being targeted with the exercises... helpful for them to share with family members, friends, and doctors... helpful for you to create positive referrals and long-term clients for your business!
This level of training will completely transform how you work with clients, how you train, and the tools at your disposal to create massive, long-lasting change.

QUARTER 4: Advanced Neurology Application & Sport Specific Training
Quarter 4 will focus heavily on advanced application and deeper assessments and drills for the Visual, Vestibular, Respiratory, and Proprioceptive systems... including neuro-anatomy, function, assessments, and drills for all.
The visual system provides 70-90% of neurological inputs and is responsible for 70-80% of motor outputs, so it is VITALLY important that we understand it is MORE than just seeing clearly.
The visual system, along with the Vestibular system, is heavily involved in posture, stabilization, voluntary movement, reaction speed, and accuracy of movements.
If those systems aren't integrating well, EVERYTHING else will be off about your client's movement and posture.
Quarter 4 also focuses on taking all of the material from Levels 1-3 and applying it directly into sport-specific training.
